Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center has been the leader in being the go-to source for Chevrolet Performance upgrades, crate engines, and even full-on race cars with the COPO Camaro. While the Camaro and the COPO program has been put on hiatus after last year, that doesn’t mean that SDPC is hanging it up. In fact, quite the opposite.
SDPC also performs in-house dyno-tuning, and engine builds. Recently, they had an opportunity to strap down a supercharged 350 cubic-inch LS power plant to their engine dyno. Destined for use in a 2024 COPO Camaro, the Magnuson-blown engine cranks out over 1,000hp and 741-lb ft of torque in its “stock configuration.
Managed by famed engine builder/tuner Kurt Urban, a few tweaks upped the ante to 1110hp and 790-lb ft of torque. All it took was a little cog swap. Word is, they’re adding a larger supercharger to the mix, soon, so we look forward to seeing what kind of horsepower that puts out!
