When we caught up with Dan Millen and Andy Ricketts of Livernois Motorsports & Engineering at this year’s SEMA Show, they had several new products on display. Not only was their LT1 DOD-Delete Package in attendance, but so was their VVT Camshaft Timing Control System.
Designed for a number of engines, including the L99 5th-Gen Camaro, C7 Corvette and 2014+ full-size GM truck, it makes degreeing the camshaft for your VVT V8 GM a lot easier.
Official Release:
Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, the leader in late model VVT technologies and products is proud to introduce our Total Control Cam Timing System for late model engines employing VVT (Variable Valve Timing) cam phasing technology. The widespread use of VVT in today’s late model performance engines presents a challenge for those familiar with traditional methods of camshaft degreeing.
Up until now options for degreeing late model camshafts have been very limiting. The only option to degree the camshaft was to lock the phaser in a certain position, losing the benefits of the VVT system in the process. The Livernois Total Control cam timing system allows for degreeing the camshaft while still maintaining the function of the VVT system. Giving you the ability to precisely choose the camshaft installed position, and benefit from the increased performance across the entire RPM range that the VVT system affords.
Features:
- Up to 6 Degrees of Adjustment
- Adjustable in 1 Degree Increments
- Fits Inside the Stock Cam Phaser
- Simple and Effective Cam Degreeing
- Includes Phaser Limiter
