Edelbrock is a name known for bringing the parts engine builders want to the market. In addition to a steady flow of new designs and new products, they are constantly working to improve upon their current lines, and are adding newer versions and expanding applications.
At the 2017 SEMA show, their booth was packed, and not just with people, but with new parts. It was a highlight of the trip as we got to see more than we can even process in one sitting. According to Edelbrock, everything that was on display is already in stock and ready to ship, which is amazing considering the number of new rollouts. While some people use the SEMA show as a teaser about what’s to come in the next year, Edelbrock isn’t wasting any time getting their new products out there into the hands of their customers.
The popular Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger is now available for 2010-2017 Camaro SS models. This supercharging system comes in engine specific part numbers, and is available in three different stages for moderate to major power gains. The Tuner systems are dyno proven to make over 600-horsepower, so you can get pretty wild with these.
Edelbrock’s new Pro-Flo XT LS3 Series Intake Manifold is made with a large plenum and 6.25” tapered intake runner so it will deliver optimum horsepower and a torque band of 1500-7000 RPMs. It has a large 90mm throttle bore opening, that can be ported up to 105mm. This intake would be ideal for high boost applications. Also new for LS3 applications is their Cross-Ram Intake Manifold that has a unique dual-plenum design with 13” long runners with flanges made to accept two 90mm LS3 throttle bodies. This intake is perfect for twin-turbo engines.
They are also starting to roll out a lot of aftermarket parts for LT engines, including their CNC ported LT heads with larger valves, and an overall improved design. If you’re looking for a complete LT crate engine for your next project, the E-Forced Supercharged LT 416 is ready to drop in your car, and makes 851-horsepower and 780 ft-lbs of torque out of the box.
Edelbrock had quite the new product rollout this year, proving that they are at the top of their game in the aftermarket performance scene.
