Official Release:
New Flex-a-lite 200 Dehumidifier Keeps Your Garage Dry Year Round, Protecting Cars and Tools from Rust
Las Vegas – The new Flex-a-lite 200 Dehumidifier will keep humidity under control in garages, protecting cars and tools from rust and other issues caused by excessive moisture.
Throughout most of the U.S., high humidity during winter and summer months promotes rust on sheet metal and chassis components, and can even corrode tools and chrome finishes. That same excessive humidity can also foster mold or mildew in a vehicle’s carpet, door panels and upholstery.
The Flex-a-lite 200 Dehumidifier is a commercial-grade dehumidifier that is ideal for car enthusiasts. It can remove up to 74 pints of water per day at 80°F and 60% relative humidity and has an on-board humidistat to set the optimum humidity level for the garage. The 200 features a durable rotomolded housing, and it is compact and lightweight, making it easy to move. Its built-in automatic pumpout allows condensed water to be routed to a floor drain, so there’s no worry about emptying tanks.
The Flex-a-lite 200 Dehumidifier can be used in ambient temperatures of 40°-100°F. For shops that are too large for one unit, two or more 200 Dehumidifiers can be used.
In addition to keeping humidity under control, the Flex-a-lite 200 Dehumidifier can also be used to dry an area after flooding or to help dry wet materials more quickly. When drying out damp spaces or materials, team the Flex-a-lite 200 with the new Flex-a-lite 1000 Airmover for the fastest and most effective drying.
