Owner Nathan Tejeda surely has his hands full with this Demon 8 Pontiac G8 GT. Nearly every facet of this G8 has been customized and upgraded, and it’s all powered by a blown LSA engine. Basically, this 4-door G8 has been transformed into a nasty little supercar.
Nathan bought his 2008 Pontiac G8 GT as a quick daily driver that has the ability to act as a family car, thanks to the backseat. This sporty family car quickly became a serious machine, having “every available option installed” and getting mods on every corner.
The heart of this build is the forged LSX 427 engine with a fully ported LSA 1900 supercharger sitting on top. Trick Flow heads, AFCO Racing ZL1 heat exchanger, Fore Innovations fuel rails, a Fore double pump fuel system, Nick Williams throttle body, custom intake, ARH headers, and Spintech exhaust all help to get that power flowing, but those are only some of the upgrades for the powertrain. Backing the engine is a built 6L80E with a Precision Industries triple disc stall converter.
Like all proper supercars, this G8 has the braking system to back up its go-fast power. Six-piston CTS-V Brembo front brakes with custom etched and drilled R1 Concepts rotors give it some serious stopping ability. Maverick Carbon coilovers and Spohn trailing arms give it an edge on handling, while grippy Nitto 555 G2 tires (fronts) Nitto NT05s (rears) wrapped around flat black Z/28 replica wheels keep it on the pavement.
The exterior is unlike any other G8 you’re going to see rolling down the road. The genuine HSV W427 front bumper with genuine HSV fog lights with LEDs, a front splitter, Holden hood with ZL1 scoop, black vinyl roof, and black window trim kit from Holden make the Liquid Red Pontiac’s appearance match the aggressiveness of the power under the hood.
Inside is a luxurious and sporty experience. It’s rocking custom embroidered HSV GTS front seats, custom upholstered rear seats, Holden sliding center console, and custom painted dash look amazing and match the exterior perfectly. Upgrades like the Holden steering wheel with paddle shifters with HSV gauge cluster remind you that this is a performance vehicle — while luxuries have been added throughout for comfort, appearance, and added utility.
Does this car have you drooling? It could be yours if you think you could handle it! As of January 30th, 2017, the car was listed for sale on the Demon 8 Designs Facebook page here. There’s no word on why it’s up for grabs, maybe it’s just time to start on something new — but it’s good news for anyone looking for a ready-made monster G8.
