We’ve always had a soft spot for widebodies — and chances are, you either love or hate them. Now throw a F-2 ProCharger supercharger on one, and we can’t stop drooling. A Camaro this attention grabbing deserves a good walk-around, the kind of work and detail that has gone into the build is simply incredible. Spotted at the 2016 Pigeon Forge Rod Run by ScottieDTV, this Camaro looks more like a superhero than a car.
When this Camaro from Campbell Camaro Racing Bodies rolls up, it’s hard to know what to react to first — the way it looks, or the way it sounds. Seemingly every spot on this Camaro’s body has been customized. It’s pretty extreme, to put it lightly. From quarter panel intake ducts, to a side exit exhaust, this Camaro is both exaggerated and refined at the same time. It took a lot of imagination to make this widebody look this way; some of the features are functional, some are just there simply to bring together a more effective shock-factor in the looks. The interior is fairly stock, minus the seats and gear shifter.
If you don’t like the aggressive super car styling of the widebody work, you still have to appreciate what’s powering this car. The fully-built and blown engine puts an astonishing 1,500 horsepower to the ground. A Dart LS block is the strong foundation that makes the extreme power. It’s decked out with All Pro cylinder heads, a Wilson intake manifold, and the star of the show, a F-2 ProCharger. Supporting the power is a set of Injector Dynamics fuel injectors, custom headers, and dual-side exhaust.
There’s a lot that can be said about this widebody 5th-gen, but nothing compares to the way it sounds, and the fat profile from the custom bodykit. You’d be crazy not to want one of these, if price wasn’t a factor, because this build was certainly not done on a budget!
