Road racing is a continuously growing automotive sport that brings car and driver closer than ever before. With so many drags trips closing, particularly in the Southwest, enthusiasts have been branching out to road racing (and autocross) like never before.
In case you’ve been following along with our Cadillac Challenge Series (presented by Toyo Tires) coverage, then you know that D3Cadillac has been playing a significant role of waving the flag for us road racing enthusiasts.
With an excellent starting point to being with, in that of the 1st and 2nd-gen CTS-V, the foundation for an impressive track car is already in place – D3 just takes things to the next level. Being one of the only shops in the entire country that specialize exclusively in late-model (2004+) performance-minded Cadillacs, D3 has been campaigning highly-modifed CTS-Vs all over the nation.
Squaring off against some of the most well-rounded European exotics, Japanase tuners and even taking on friendly fire from their domestic competition, such as the Hellcat Mopars and supercharged Ford GTs and Shelby Mustangs, CTS-Vs have been among the dominant force in road racing thanks to the efforts of shops like D3.
Just last weekend, they were at Spring Mountain Motorsports in Nevada doing what they do best, and there was no shortage of Cadillac awesomeness on display. The D3 crew will be showing off what they can do next month at Laguna Seca on June 6th and 7th. See you then!
