Killer Mike Teams Up with Hemmings for Automotive Adventure in “Killer Mike’s Grind National”
New Content Series Blends the World of Automotive Culture and Music for a Unique Grammy Journey
Los Angeles, Calif. – In an electrifying partnership that breaks new ground, three-time 2024 Grammy award-winning artist Michael Render, aka “Killer Mike” and Hemmings, the trailblazing services provider for the collector car market, are revving up to launch a groundbreaking six-episode content series, “Killer Mike’s Grind National.” Debuting on Hemmings YouTube channel on February 15th; this six-week series promises to blend automotive culture with the gritty spirit of one of hip hop’s most influential voices.
Each episode, airing consecutively over a six-week span, will take viewers on a unique journey – from the drawing board to the Grammy Awards – showcasing the construction of Killer Mike’s custom-built 1987 Buick Grand National. Episode highlights include the initial introduction to the project’s vision with project lead and co-host, Ron Baugh, an in-depth look at the build process with fabricator and builder Suppy Wejpanich, and the thrilling conclusion of delivering the car to Killer Mike for his grand arrival at the Grammy Awards.
Killer Mike, fresh off his 2024 Grammy wins for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance, is no stranger to the collector car scene. A rabid automobile enthusiast, Mike’s collaboration with Hemmings on this project is a testament to his passion for blending the worlds of music, culture, and automotive excellence.
