Florida High Performance has been running full throttle since the beginning, and there’s no sign of them letting up any time soon. Recently, Erik and the team brought in Bad Punk’n, and a customer’s ZL1 in front of the camera, to delve deep into port injection, and what it can do for an LT4-powered vehicle.
The blue car belongs to customer, Austin, while a social guest appearance from tuner and regular FLHP collaborator, Derek Dunbar, jumps in front of the camera with Erik for the first time. Derek has been lending his tuning expertise with Erik and FLHP for quite a while. So to get him from his home base of Louisiana, to Erik’s shop in Florida for the first time, lends an interesting approach to FLHP’s YouTube channel.
There are two very unique ZL1’s featured in this clip, as the main focus. Both cars have received a slew of bolt-on and mechanical upgrades; components that work well for performance, but offers maximum reliability and drivability. But if you want to take things to the next level? That’s where port injection comes into play, baby. Erik and Derek break it down in this awesome clip, and do a bang-up job in explaining it so anyone can understand. Enjoy!
