G-body cars are on the rise; in both propulsory, and value. Whether it’s a base model Monte Carlo, or a Turbo Buick, finding a solid, clean, and drivable example for small change is becoming more difficult. Blame it on nostalgia, or the older classic muscle cars reaching the stratosphere in price, today’s enthusiast are gobbling these cars up like Pac Man, and tuning them to suit their tastes and needs.
It’s no longer about keeping them stock, either; LS swaps, aftermarket suspension, big brake kits, you name it — is all going into the fold, and carefully-crafted examples are bringing just as much money, of not more, than their all-original counterparts.
In a recent update from Aldan American‘s YouTube channel, Gary installs a set of Spohn front A-arms to an ’87 Buick Regal T, that was, in a previous installment, already fitted with front coil-overs. This time, however, the owner wanted to take it to the next level with a set of aftermarket A-arms.
Available as a kit directly from Aldan American, you can order your Aldan front coil-overs with upper and lower Spohn A-arms will drop front end weight, add addition rigidity and strength and allow for adjustability. Naturally, further adjustability will come from Aldan’s own coil-overs, too.
There are additional components in the G-body section of the Aldan catalog, and there are more being added to it as we type this. For more information, be sure to check out Aldan American’s website and be sure to watch the above video for the step-by-step install procedure.
