There’s no getting around it; but SEMA Show 2017 is just around the corner! The cars are amazing, the people are great and all of us industry guys get together to get a sneak peek of what’s just around the corner in terms of products and vehicles!
Working directly with some of the biggest names in the industry, sometimes leaks come our way. Just this morning, a report came across our desk from our friends at 6LE Designs about a new Camaro IROC-Z project they’re working on. There’s only a few details made known in the press release, but we have them below.
The upgrades include a 1969-styled wide body and a panoramic glass roof, upgraded suspension, modernized version of the classic IROC-Z wheel and a pumped-up, blown LT1 with the help of a Whipple supercharger. It’ll also feature custom interior touches, a carbon fiber hood, larger rear spoiler and naturally, specific “IROC-Z” callouts near the side rocker panels.
No finished images have been released, as our friends at 6LE tell us that they’re feeling the SEMA crunch as we speak. Once more information becomes available we’ll be releasing them for your viewing pleasure. We’ll get a closer look at the finished product at SEMA 2017.
