Official Release:
New 1982-92 Firebird Defroster Vents Now Available from OER
High-Quality Reproduction Vents Direct Airflow and Give Interiors a Finished Look
Westminster, Calif. – Cracked, faded, and warped dash pads are a common problem among classic cars, and the third-gen Firebird is no exception. When restoring or replacing the dash pad, it’s easy to forget about the small defroster vents on each side, or to break them during removal. Since OER is committed to providing restorers with even the smallest and most obscure parts for their cars or trucks, the company chose to address the problem of broken or missing defroster vents by reproducing them.
These reproduction dash pad defroster vents insert on the outer sides of the dash on all 1982-92 Firebird models, and serve to direct airflow to the side windows, giving the driver clear visibility all year round. OER’s new vents are formed out of durable injection-molded plastic, to match the authentic look of the original GM parts. They are sold as a pair, with one pair required per vehicle.
