Reversion Raceworks has had one heckuva 2024, with a vast array of new products and even more currently under development. Today, we’re taking a closer look at the 1.5-DIN Radio and Adapter for ’96-02 Pontiac Firebird, and by extension, it’s sister car the ’97-02 Chevy Camaro. It’s been a long time since these cars rolled off of the assembly-line, so the tech under the skin may leave a lot to be desired to some enthusiasts. The CD player/stereo is certainly old tech, and most of these cars have since ditched the OEM radio for something aftermarket. But now we’re seeing modern tablets and other screen-based devices being implemented into the cars — sometimes, badly.
In an effort to make things look more streamline, and professionally-installed, Reversion Raceworks has released a 1.5 DIN for our favorite F-bodies. Learn more below.

Reversion Raceworks 1.5 DIN Radio & Adapter For Late 4th-Gen Pontiac F-Body (’96-02 Firebird)
This adapter and radio kit makes makes installing a touch screen headunit in ’96-’02 Firebird’s a breeze. Our bracket clips into the factory dash bracket to mount a the 1.5 DIN radio in the original location – without modification. You still get to use the factory bezel, meaning no need for aftermarket bezels which need paint work and time to get fitting right.
