Strange Engineering’s Independent S60 for Camaros

s60independentWhether you on a classic muscle car, late-model Camaro, or anything in between, Strange Engineering should be a familiar name. Designing, engineering, and building some of the most stout rearend assemblies around, Strange is no stranger to high-horsepower racing applications.

Understanding that the 5th-Gen Camaro is an immensely popular vehicle, and one that can benefit from a more rugged differential, Strange now offers these IRS S60 diffs specifically designed for the 2010-2015 Camaro. You can get all of the juicy details in the official release from Strange below!

Official Release:

Strange Engineering is proud to introduce the all-new Independent 9.75” Aluminum Rearend assembly for the 5th Generation Camaro. This tested and proven assembly offers seamless installation, superior strength, and quieter operation when compared to 9” assemblies.

Standard equipment includes the 35-spline S-trac differential, a Dana Spicer gear set, Poly bushings, and Hy-Tuf stub shafts. The Independent 9.75” rear is constructed from lightweight premium 206-T4 aluminum. The finned case design, radial ribbed cover and billet main caps increase the overall strength and rigidity. The complete assembly weighs only 20-lbs. more than the stock rearend, and is designed to work with aftermarket half shafts and CV joints.

Features:

  • IRS designs allows bolt-in assembly
  • Designed for high-horespower drag applications
  • Stronger and quieter than comparable 9-inch
  • Constructed from lightweight aluminum
