Official Release:
Build a Better 5.3L LS Engine with a Scat Modern Muscle Engine Rotating Assembly
Not everyone wants to build a big cubic inch LS engine; they just want a better rotating assembly for something more basic. If you have a Gen-IV 5.3L with the 58-tooth reluctor wheel, this Scat Modern Muscle Engine Rotating Assembly will let you build a nice 350 cubic inch motor—not too big, not too small, but just right.
The fully balanced assembly includes these parts:
• Forged 4340 steel crankshaft
• Forged 4340 H-beam connecting rods
• Forged aluminum flat-tip pistons with two-valve reliefs
• Piston ring set with moly-coated top rings
• Top quality main and rod bearings
Summit Racing carries Scat Modern Muscle Rotating Assemblies to build stroker Gen-III and Gen-IV LS, Mopar Gen-III Hemis, and Ford 4.6L Modular engines.
