Although it might be hard to believe, but the oldest GMT-800 GM truck is nearly 25 years old. Built between 1999-2006 (+2007 “Classic”), it’s soon to become the next hot thing, right behind the currently popular OBS. It’s kind of a no-brainer, though, right? They left the factory with LS power, and arrived to the showroom in a ton of different configurations.
Although it’s been nearly 20 years since they left the showrooms, there are still a ton of these trucks on the road today. After so many years, a lot of the trim pieces and other components are showing their age. So if you’re a ’99-06 GM truck owner looking to replace the fender flares on your 4WD example, or your truck didn’t have them in the first place, you can order these OEM-style examples from RedRock, through our friends at AmericanTrucks.
Listed as part number S111307,these are a simple bolt in installation for any ’99-06 GMT, with a standard bed (no duallys or step sides), and for the most part, the front flares will install using the already existing holes in the fenders. Some drilling may be required, as the holes can potentially be a little off from the holes in the fender flares.
Follow the install in the video above.
