Performance Design pTR Intake Manifold for Gen 5 LT1, L83 and L86 Engines

Auburn Hills, MI. July 25th, 2024 – The Performance Design pTR Intake Manifold offers tunnel ram architecture at an affordable price. The pTR family of intakes includes Carbon pTR (nylon lower manifold with carbon fiber plenum) for all LS and LT engines and now pTR (all nylon) for LT engines. Glass reinforced nylon upper and lower shell combine for lightweight, strong and heat resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6.5 – 9” runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, this manifold is now offered for the Gen 5 LT1, L83 (with upgraded throttle body) ,L86 and L87 engines.

The plenum is constructed from molded nylon for a reduced cost alternative to the popular Carbon pTR. The same polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the heads and houses all ports/sensors hidden in the valley. The combination of materials offers a 10 lb weight savings over competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds.

Add port injection to supplement or replace the Gen V LT’s direct injection with optional billet -8AN fuel rails.

  • Nitrous nozzle bosses on outboard and valley side of each runner (16 total)
  • Provisions to add port injection with billet fuel rails (sold separately)
