Lingenfelter’s NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE)Ā was recently caught testing their brand new two-step nitrous controller at the 2014 Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Not wanting to give up too much information, they decided to wait until last night to give us all of the juicy details. See them below!

Official Release:

LINGENFELTER RELEASES NCC-002 NITROUS CONTROL CENTER

DECATUR, Ind. – Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) has released its NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center, which doubles the solenoid driver capacity of the original NCC-001 controller for both nitrous and fuel outputs. Capable of driving up to 30 amps per channel, the Lingenfelter NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center is a two-stage fully independent progressive nitrous controller with on-board display, on-board and PC based programming and data logging.

Designed for ease of use and access at the track, all settings and options available in the NCC-002 software program are also LPE Nitrous Control Center NCC-002available on the controller itself. The NCC-002 offers independent control of both nitrous and fuel duty cycle for each stage of nitrous. It can be programmed far in advance of nitrous delivery to address lean spikes that often occur on initial nitrous activation. It also enables activation of deactivation of nitrous through a variety of inputs.

The NCC-002 features enough internal memory to save three user-defined programs directly on the controller and an unlimited number of different programs can be saved on the user’s personal computer. Adjustments can be made using a PC or via the on-board display and buttons, providing quick access should track conditions change requiring a different configuration.

“The Lingenfelter NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center is one of the most advanced nitrous controllers on the market yet it offers ease of use making it practical for seasoned race veterans and weekend racers alike,” said Ken Lingenfelter, CEO / owner, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. “The new model offers increased solenoid driver current capacity, with double the solenoid drivers per channel of the previous model while continuing to offer unparalleled features and capabilities in a stand-alone nitrous controller that combines a number of components into one.”

Lingenfelter designed the NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center to simplify wiring and reduce the number of modules needed, combining the functions of a two-stage nitrous controller, data logger, RPM window switch, shift light controller, fuel pressure safety switch, programmable TPS switch and bottle heater controller. It gives users the ability to modify nitrous based on time, RPM, vehicle speed and throttle position.Ā  It also has programmable fuel pressure and AFR safety nitrous overrides.

The NCC-002’s inputs include engine speed, vehicle speed, TPS, clutch pedal position, air fuel ratio, fuel pressure, nitrous bottle pressure and more.Ā  Outputs include nitrous 1 & 2, fuel 1 & 2, relay 1 & 2, timer, shift light and analog voltage.

The NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center (part # L 460240000) can be installed into virtually any vehicle, with the sensors and harness sold separately. The NCC-002 Nitrous Control Center kit (part #L 460200000) was especially designed for late-model EFI vehicles and includes a high pressure fuel sensor, nitrous pressure sensor and wiring harnesses.

Special attention during design of the NCC-002 enables compatibility with the most late model GM vehicles including:

* 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird
* 1997-2014 Corvette
* 2010-2014 Camaro SS
* 2012-2014 ZL1 Camaro
* 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO
* 2009-2013 CTSV
* 1999-2013 GM CK trucks

Features:

  • For late-model EFI vehicles
  • Capable of driving up to 30 amps per channel
  • Can be installed in any type of vehicle
  • Increases solenoid driver current capacity
  • doubles the solenoid drivers per channel overĀ previous model
