There was a time during the late-1980s through the late-90s, where many of GM’s trucks and full-sized passenger sedans relied on a primitive form of electronic fuel-injection. Being essentially updated versions of the GEN-I small-block Chevy V-8s, the GEN-Is did their best to offer the perfect balance of efficiency with an engine platform that pushing fifty-years old.
While many enthusiasts have disregarded these engines altogether, by either replacing them with something else or even switching to a carburetor, there are many others who have preferred to keep the EFI format, but with the requirements of additional power. Luckily, Edelbrock has heard their requests.
