Heidts Acquires Chassis Engineering Inc., Expanding Its Portfolio of Hot Rod And Muscle Car Parts

Heidts Hot Rod and Muscle Car Parts announced today that it has acquired Chassis Engineering Inc. The two companies will continue to operate under their established brands, but Chassis Engineering Inc. will move sales, technical and manufacturing operations to the Heidts facility in Lake Zurich IL. Chassis Engineering Inc. products will continue to be produced by many of the same employees currently with the company.

(CEI) is joining our family of companies which includes Heidts Hot Rod & Muscle Car Parts, Alston Racing, and American Performance Shocks. CEI is a great fit for us and brings decades of experience serving the street and hot rod markets with their quality high-performance parts,” said Heidts President and CEO Wallace Leyshon.

“CEI’s Iowa operations will be folded into our Lake Zurich, IL facility and we will retain many of their staff and continue to supply the needs of current CEI customers. The combined companies will provide the market with the most comprehensive product line of suspension kits and components available in the automotive aftermarket.”
