BMR Launches New G-Body Rear Control Arm Reinforcement Braces

Control Arm BracesGM G-Body cars have had a strong track presence for decades. They are platforms for some of the best mild to wild street and track cars. A major cause of frustration for G-Body owners are suspension load related issues. Thanks to the stamped metal parts of the factory frame, major deflection and changes in rearend geometry happen when the suspension is loaded. The byproduct of this frequently results in wheel hop and negative effects on cornering.

BMR Suspension has taken note of these concerns and doesn’t want enthusiasts to have to suffer any longer. The new 1978-1987 GM G-Body Rear Control Arm Reinforcement Braces prevent the detrimental deflecting when under load. These braces attach to the inside of the upper and lower control arm mounts to add strength to deflection prone areas. G-Body drivers can now launch harder with reduced wheel hop, and add cornering consistency. Learn more about these heavy duty braces in the official BMR release below!

1978-1987 GM G-Body Rear Control Arm Reinforcement Braces

RB003   $139.95

Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your 1978-1987 GM G-body is easy with Control Arm Reinforcement Braces from BMR Suspension. Stamped steel sections of the factory frame can deflect under load and change the rearend geometry. BMR’s Control Arm Reinforcement Braces (RB003) attach to the inner upper and lower control arm mounts, adding strength to the areas that are prone to deflection. Manufactured from heavy-duty 1.00-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall DOM steel tubing, with a center adjuster, the reinforcement braces are a great way to reduce frame deflection.

BMR Suspension designed its Control Arm Reinforcement Braces to work well in street performance, drag race, and road race applications. The heavy-duty construction eliminates flex, giving you much improved repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. BMR Suspension’s Rear Suspension Kits are available in black hammertone and red powdercoat for long-lasting good looks. Installation time is about 2-3 hours. Proudly made in the U.S.A.! To preview all of BMR’s high-performance suspension parts, please visit www.bmrsuspension.com.
