We Pay a Visit to the 36th Annual Buick GS Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky!

Time is sure flying by, but 2016 marked the GS Club of America’s 36th Annual GS Nationals, and it was the third time we’ve covered the event as an entity. Bringing in thousands of Buicks from all over the country, and every ever model and vintage, it’s the great echelon of everyone who races Buicks in the country and in some cases, the world.

Hosting another great turnout for this year’s event, Saturday’s racing action and judged car show was cancelled early, due to endless rain showers that just wouldn’t let up. However, we did manage to capture a lot of great images of  the event and there were some stunners there!

The GS Nationals hosts several drag racing classes, a judged car show a car corral, new and used parts swap meet and several restoration and aftermarket vendors. Some would argue that this year’s turnout was a little light thanks to the strong anticipation of rain, but it was fun and a great time nonetheless.

We’ve compiled an impressive photo gallery below that all of you can enjoy. Hopefully we’ll see you next year during the week of September 13-17, 2017!
